About Embroidery by Design

Originally known as Eli Bay Ltd, which is still our legal name, our company has been in existence since 1910. At that time offering a full line of quality retail clothing and footwear. Eli Bay Ltd has seen many changes over the years with Embroidery By Design & Promotions making its first appearance in 1998. At that time it was seen as a sideline to the retail clothing business. Our first single head embroidery machine was purchased at that time and things really began to unfold. Things soon began to change with more and more emphasis being placed on embroidery, screen printing and promotional products. The addition of a new 4 head and subsequently another 2 head embroidery machine refocused the nature of our business. In house silk screening equipment was added as well as a state of the art vinyl cutter. Embroidery By Design soon out grew its position in the back of the store. In the fall of 2010 the retail side of our operation gave way to concentrating full time to embroidery, screen printing and promotional products. Our staff, which consists of family members has over 66 years combined experience in retail and promotional sales. Providing in house design for any type of order allows us to be hands on in every aspect of our customers orders. From concept to creation our customers are always first.
